VINEYARD

SOUTH ORANGE, NEW JERSEY

Vineyard celebrates the art of layering. Designed for a family with fond memories of summers spent on the islands of coastal Massachusetts, this historic New Jersey Colonial balances timeless architecture with vibrant color, pattern, and collected details.

Throughout the home, richly patterned textiles, whimsical prints, and carefully curated furnishings create rooms that feel both sophisticated and deeply personal. Inspired by a beloved Lewis & Wood fabric, Sarah layered an array of complementary patterns, ensuring each element contributes its own distinct character while working together in harmony. Coastal influences appear in thoughtful touches, from organic textures and sculptural lighting to statement pieces that evoke the spirit of seaside escapes.

“Classic elements, like the Chesterfield couch, shine with a more modern upholstery choice while whimsical details, like the sea urchin lamps and brass sconces, tie the space together with color and vibrancy.”
